  • Height 7 cm.
wearing a short beard and wide wig falling to the shoulders, his face with mouth indented at the corners and large wide-set eyes, attached to a modern marble base.

French private collection, acquired in the 1970s
acquired by the current owner at auction in France

Condition

Surface worn, weathered and scratched overall. Chin, lips, nose, eyebrows and forehead somewhat more worn. Patches of black material mostly visible on nose above proper left ear on top and back. Might benefit of some cleaning.
