  • both with an illegible silver mark to the reverse, probably of Augsburg; bishop with forked beard: with a sticker to the reverse inscribed in pencil: 616/3; other, probably St John of Nepomuk: with partially legible inscription to the reverse: P1475 [...] / so/wc [...] / 190G RB / THREE
  • silver, on ebony inlaid and ebonised wood bases with silver mounts
  • 16.5cm., 6½ in. and 15.5cm., 6 1/8 in.; bases: 9.5cm., 9¾in.

Condition

Overall condition good, with some wear and dirt consistent with age. Minor tarnishing and rubbing to silver. Some warping, in particular to the fingers. A few very small lacunae. There are several losses to the wood and of the bases. Particular tarnishing, and minor losses, to the silver mounts of the bases.
