Description

  • length approximately 80mm
The front applied with green, orange, blue and white enamel and collet-set with five oval rubies, the reverse with chased foliate decoration.

Condition

Overall dimensions approximately 83 x 58mm. Enamel with a few minor losses. Rubies purplish-red, transparent, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, several surface-reaching fissures. Largest ruby measuring approximately 7.7 x 5.5mm, smallest measuring approximately 58 x 46mm. Light scratches to all surfaces consistent with age and wear. Areas of light discolouration and minor casting flaws to metal. In good condition.
