Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There is a fine stretcher bar mark along the edges and a pattern of fine craquelure throughout as visible in the catalogue illustration. Ultra-violet light reveals an area of retouching to the right of the sitter's neck which is also visible to the naked eye. Otherwise, this work is in good overall condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative, oval, gilt frame.
