Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There are some pin-head sized nail holes in the four framing edges, only visible upon close inspection. Ultra-violet light reveals some minor spots of retouching in the extreme right framing edge and clusters of retouching along the left framing edge and in the sky closer to the upper left corner. However, this work presents well, is in good overall condition and is ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative wooden frame with a white inner slip.
Colours are somewhat less saturated and softer than what suggested by the catalogue illustration.
