Condition

Overall the condition of the relief is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is veining to the lapis lazuli, consistent with the material, including some slightly open veins, one running vertically through Apollo, and one diagonally across the relief at the legs. The frame is in good condition overall, with minor tarnishing and minor rubbing, notably at high points.
