Condition

Overall the condition of the terracotta is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is a slip to the surface which may conceal some condition points. There are a few chips to the bottom edge, in particular at the back. There are possible further minor chips to the hair and drapery. There are a few scratches, notably to the proper right earlobe and one to the base at the front. The metal earrings are possibly later replacements, and the joint of the proper right earring is open. There is a possible restoration to the proper left earlobe, and another possible restoration to the back corners of the base at the bottom.
