Condition
Overall, the condition of the terracotta is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is a slip to the surface which may conceal some condition points. There are a few very minor spots of red paint to the face. There are some minor fissures, including at the sides of the base. The bust is not attached to the wood base. The wood base is in very good condition, with only minor stable splitting consistent with the material, and there are a few small dark spots. There is some whitish residue to the base on the right hand side.
