Description
- Auguste Rodin
- Bust of Suzon
- signed: A. RODIN
- biscuit, on a white marble socle
Condition
Overall the condition of the bust is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few minor hairline firing cracks, consistent with the material, including to the drapery on the proper right side, below the necklace, and to the back of the head. There is some minor surface irregularity to the proper right side of the face. There appear to be a few minor areas of restoration, notably to the edge of the bow on the proper right side of the head. There is residue of a paper label at the back.
There are some very minor chips to the bottom edge of the marble socle.
