Condition
Overall in good condition. The wood surfaces present with minor surface scratches mostly located to the writing surface, nicks and some minor abrasions all consistent with age and gentle use. The writing surface with two areas of circular fading to the to the finish, each measuring 4 ½ inch in width by 2 inch in height. The two drawer's compartments are fitted with rosewood banding to upper and lower edge. Please note this is not mentioned in the original cataloguing and may be subject to import/export restrictions. The brass columnar support and base platform and ring with visible tarnishing and oxidation points consistent with age and use. The black leather linings with light surface scratches and wear to edges. The marble is in good condition with the light surface scratches consistent with use. Please note the desk no longer retains it's paper label. It has possibly been removed during a recent oiling of the wood.
