A tall and interesting form with lively bands of rich color. The clear over glaze creates a pleasing crazing throughout the vase. The vase with two sensitively restored cracks executed by a professional conservator. These radiate from the base and therefore it is likely that a hole was drilled to the underside at some stage in the piece's history (which has subsequently been filled), and it, in turn, produced these vertical cracks. The areas of restoration present when examined under black light. The restorations are well executed and not immediately visually detected.
