Overall very good condition consistent with age and gentle use. The polished steel shade in very good condition with very scattered and faint light scratches, none of which are visually obtrusive. The shade retains the original cylindrical screw caps to the top. The interior in very good condition, with no obvious paint losses or chips. The red lacquer body in good condition with one small area of infill (approx. 1/4 in.) and three small nicks to the lacquered body, above the base. The small spotlight with a light surface residue with may or may improve with additional cleaning, but not visually obtrusive. The interior storage area for the spotlight with light surface dirt in the corners. The switch with minor wear to the inside edge. Two screws missing to the underplate, however this piece is secure. The producer's decal label is located to the underside of the base. A functional and well thought out design, the lamp presents exceptionally well overall
