Condition
Overall very good condition. The wood surfaces present with light surface scratches, nicks and some minor abrasions, consistent with age and gentle use and mostly concentrated to the lower portions of the legs and to the seats. Three chairs with a more pronounced red-ish hue, three with a more pronounced brown-ish hue finish. One chair with two shallow scratches to the front edge of its seat (approx. 7/8 in. each). Another chair with a marked repair to the plywood veneer located to the proper left front edge of seat (approx. ¼ in.) and its subsequent loss and wood infill to the underside. Additionally, a shallow scratch (8 ½ in.) across the seat. This seat with slight movement and would benefit from tightening. Overall a nicely matched set with a sculptural silhouette.
