Literature
Esbjørn Hiort, Finn Juhl: Furniture, Architecture, Applied Art, Copenhagen, 1990, pp. 130-131
Condition
Overall very good condition consistent with age and gentle use. There are four-to-five very minor nicks or scratches, particularly at the edge of the dark blue adjustable cover, and a minor enamel loss at the base of the central support, none of which are visually distracting. The plastic button with two minor hairline cracks, but still structurally sound. Please note Sotheby's does not guarantee the functionality and/or proper voltage for electrical wiring and suggests having all electrical components inspected by a licensed electrician. A departure from more familiar designs in wood completed by Finn Juhl, this table lamp is a rare example of the smaller tableware productions executed by the designer.
