Condition

The set of chairs in overall good condition. The wood surfaces of each chair present with minor surface scratches, nicks and some minor abrasions, consistent with age and gentle use and largely concentrated to the lower portions of the legs. The leather of all chairs with scattered and discernible nicks, scratches and scuffs. One armchair with a leather repair measuring 1 ½ in long by ¼ in width to the lower right side of its backrest. Two armchairs each with a shallow flattened dent (approx. ¼ in.) to the top of one of the chair finials flanking the top of the back rest. Six chairs present with a more visible and accentuated scratch or dent along the outer edges of the legs. A sculptural design that presents well overall.
