Condition
Overall good condition consistent with age and gentle use. Presenting with a few losses to patina and light oxidization in the recessed areas of the design. The shade is slightly lighter in patina than conveyed in the catalogue illustration. The interior of the shade with yellowing to the white paint and some paint losses, consistent with age. The base with minor tarnishing and rubbing, but generally a nice patina overall. The rattan in good condition with no visible breaks. The underside of the lamp with the cast stamp of the producer. A popular model that presents well overall. Please note Sotheby's does not guarantee the functionality and/or the voltage compatibility for electrical wiring, and suggests having all electrical components inspected by a licensed electrician.
