Overall very good condition. There is a light tarnishing and general oxidation to the brass throughout, and more evident on the rectangular formed element at the base. Most of this can likely be lessened with a brass polish. There is minor surface dirt and evidence of minor oxidation in the recessed areas of the design. There is one leaf in the lower proper right quadrant with a slight bend at the midpoint. The base of the opaque glass shades with minor nicks and chips to the fitting edge, none of which is visible when inserted. The light affixes to the wall at the upper circular back-plate and subsequently the lower rectangle (the point at which the leaves radiate from) rests a few inches forward from the wall as intended in the design. The producer's stamps are located on the lower rectangular element. A whimsical and highly expressive wall light, the work has a strong visual presence and is characteristic of Tynell's organic forms.
