Condition
Overall in very good original condition. The present example of the model retains all the original elements of the design. The patinated brass surface with minor oxidation and very light surface scratches consistent with use and the natural aging process of the material. The wire used to suspend the light with some minor crimping. The surface with two vertical light scratches of approximately 3 inch in length and another area of scratch located at the shoulder of the dome measuring approximately ½ in square. Although with a brand new rewiring please note Sotheby's does not guarantee the functionality and/or the voltage compatibility outside the US for electrical wiring, and suggests having all electrical components inspected by a licensed electrician.
