Condition
Overall good condition. The cabinet with scattered faint nicks and scratches, consistent with age. The back veneer (part which touches the wall) with a some cracking and drying to the wood around a knot, this is consistent with the material over time and not visible when affixed to the wall. The piece signed 'Gion' in crayon to the reverse. The right facing upper edge with a lovely dark dovetailing joint which is not visible in the catalogue illustration. There are a few hairlines around these joints, but appear stable, minute and not visually distracting. The case top with some evidence of light fading due to sun exposure, but minor and often seen with these pieces over time. The inside opening to reveal one adjustable shelf on the left hand side. Note the bracket clips are missing. The right hand side is open with no mounting for shelves. The doors are in excellent condition and slide easily. Interior dimensions are: 9.5 in deep, 28.5 in. wide
