Description

of circular form, one side with a hemispherical grinding surface modelled in the form of a pond framed by a scene with gnarled pine tree trunks bordering the lower half of the inkstone, further decorated with a recumbent water buffalo and figures in a village scene with pavilions and mountains, the reverse with a six-character seal mark reading Da Qing Chen Guozhi zuo
