resembling a curled handscroll, one side depicting a building at the base of towering mountains, the reverse inscribed with a poem in gilt signed chen Peng Yuanrui jing zhu ('respectfully inscribed by your servant, Peng Yuanrui'), further inscribed to the sides Hu Kaiwen qian zhi ('reverently made by Hu Kaiwen') and dated to the jiawu year of the Qianlong period, corresponding to 1774, all within key-fret borders decorated in gilt

Condition

It is in overall good condition, except for some typical minor age crackles, pale speckles and some expected nicks to the edges.
