Description

  • Jade
finely rendered in the form of a boy with his head turned backwards, the figure depicted with the left elbow bent at an angle and the left hand grasping a long stem extending across his back and issuing a lotus flower, the stone of a celadon colour highlighted with attractive russet streaks

Condition

There are minor nicks to the edges of the figure, particularly to the shoes and trousers' hems. Small areas have possibly lightly polished to conceal an earlier nick. The figure is otherwise in overall good condition.
