Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the lead is cooler in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are some small nicks in places to the artist's frames. Close inspection reveals some hairline scratches and surface irregularities to the lead sheets, which are in keeping with the artist's choice of medium and are likely to be inherent.
"In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. Catalogue Note

“I, the world, things, life, we are situations of energy and the important thing is precisely not to crystallise these situations, but keep them open and alive in terms of our living. Since all manners of thinking or being must correspond to a manner of behaving, my works are really the physification of the force behind an action, of the energy of a situation or event, and not its experience in terms of annotation or signs, or just still life.” (Giovanni Anselmo cited in: Germano Celant, 'I, The World, Things, Life', Arte Povera, New York 1969, p. 109)
