To the naked eye: The painting appears in very satisfactory condition. It is still on its original canvas. We notice the mark of the stretcher on the four edges but it does not bother the lecture of the painting. We notice a little loss of material in the lower centre (visible in the catalogue's picture), as well as a little restoration in the sky, on the upper right corner. We also notice two little losses ( the size of a pinhead) near the left edge. Under the U.V. light: The painting appears under a green uniform varnish. We notice a restoration in the lower part, along the stretcher marks already mentioned. We also notice several little spots of retouching in the sky, scattered on the whole surface.
