Condition

To the naked eye: Except for the losses in the Virgin’s forehead (visible on the picture) the painting appears in a satisfactory condition. It is painted on a panel made of a non-cradled plank. It is under an old, thick and very dirty varnish. Under U.V. light: The painting appears under a green thick and uniform varnish. We notice a slight retouching in the lower face of the Virgin.
