The panel is flat and even. There are one or two possible small dents, notably a small one in the waist of the seated lady, and a possible small superficial crack just above, visible in the catalogue illustration. There also appears to be a small horizontal hairline crack near the center of the right edge, which appears to be stable. There is a fine pattern of drying craquelure primarily in the background in the upper right. Ultra violet light reveals an opaque and even varnish. There are a few small scattered spots of fluorescence, likely attributable to rubbing of the varnish rather than retouching. This painting is in good overall condition . Presented in a decorative gilt frame with a narrow cloth-covered inner slip.
