Condition
The composite panel has a superficial vertical crack visible to the right of the lower edge (visible in the catalog illustration) which appears to be stable.
Another less conspicuous line is visible just to the left under raking light, which may also correspond to a superficial crack.
The panel has a small extension along the left edge which does not form part of the composition.
Under UV light numerous strokes throughout the composition and some areas of the sky fluoresces green, and stand out under raking light. Some of these are likely attributable to the artist’s pigments, however some proportion of these probably correspond to retouches.
