The canvas is unlined.
As visible in the catalogue there is a pattern of craquelure overall, and a visible stretcher mark. Spots of paint flaking corresponding to frame rubbing are visible in the upper left corner and to the far right of the upper edge.
Ultraviolet light reveals an even varnish and no notable visible signs of retouching.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
