Title with woodcut vignette (repeated on P4v), 2 folding woodcut plates, full-page woodcut coat-of-arms of the dedicatee, Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester, on the verso of title and another on K4v, woodcut initials, text diagrams and tables, printer's woodcut device on K4r (McKerrow 99), &4r/v (McKerrow 203 and 149); portion cut from inner margin of title-page with loss to coat-of-arms, short tear to left margin of both folding plates slightly affecdting images, slight browning and soiling, some headlines and side-notes shaved (a few cropped), minor dampstaining to some upper inner corners. Nineteenth-century calf paneled blind, marbled endpapers; worn, upper cover nearly detached.
