Catalogue Note

First edition; a very good copy of a scarce book. A note at the end of the index promotes the forthcoming publication of "a second booke of Sansovinos politick Conceites," but it was evidently never printed or, if printed, does not survive. A variant issue (no precedence) of the present work includes the date Octobris. 28. in the imprint. The issue without the specific date is much the rarer of the two, although evidently no copy of either issue has appeared at auction since the Foyle copy in 2000.
