4to (7 1/2 x 5 1/2 in.; 191 x 140 mm). Woodcut initial and factototum, C4r, line 5 with variant "maniable" for "amiable"; tiny rust hole (E4v) touching one letter, light, occasional discoloration, 3H mottled, without the two added leaves of errata at the end present in some copies ("not often found" according to Gibson) and terminal blank 3H2. Eighteenth-century calf, spine gilt in six compartments, tan lettering piece, edges stained red.
