Catalogue Note

This watercolour was probably painted c.1928 and closely resembles Looking from the Garden at St Jean Cap Ferrat Towards Monte Carlo (private collection). Pictures from the period when Redpath lived at Cap Ferrat are rare as she concentrated upon being a wife and mother following her marriage to the architect James Michie.
