The brunette doll: Susan and Burton Pariser, New Jersey;
Christie's, New York, The Contents of Thorntree, Mendham, New Jersey, June 11, 1985, lot 303.
The blonde doll: Olsen Antiques, Wayne Pennsylvania.

Condition

Both dolls with wear and losses to painted decoration on faces; losses to the gesso layer as well. Clothes appear to be later with some minor tears and fraying. One doll is missing lower half of legs.
