The first, Vauxhall, sprigged with a bust-length portrait of Queen Anne above a continuous hunting scene, incised John James 1730 beneath a toping verse, the second, possibly Bristol similarly decorated with a hunting scene and incised William Robbins 1754 above a verse, impressed crowned GR excise mark.

Condition

London tankard: five minor chips to the rim; long restored haircrack extending from the rim, down the side and into the base for about 1 in. Second tankard: 1/2-in chip mostly to the inner edge of the rim; one tree and the hunter partially chipped away.
