RARE STAFFORDSHIRE LEAD-GLAZED CREAM-COLORED EARTHENWARE CRUCIFIXION PLAQUE CIRCA 1760-65

Decorated with a relief scene of the Crucifixion beneath the inscription Christ Crucifed.

There are several small shallow chips to the edges on the back of the catalogue which are not visible from the exterior. There is a firing crack running down from one of the holes and ending near Christ's head and another running along Christ's body, which is not visible from the front. There is a short 1-inch haircrack running across the left bottom corner. Otherwise in generally good condition.
