Description

- height of cup 6.4cm, 2 1/2 in.; diameter of saucer 13.5cm, 5 1/4 in.; length of spoon 13.3cm, 5 1/4 in.
the cup decorated at each side with a shaded polychrome enamel fortress within scrolling leaves and exotic birds, on blue and cream-coloured grounds, the saucer with further birds and stylised flowerheads, the spoon matching, struck K.Fabergé in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, overstriking workmaster's initials, 88 standard, illegible scratched inventory number (spoon)
Condition
Excellent condition with minor wear to the gilding and very tiny enamel losses to the spoon.
