Description

of navette form, each surface painted with a dendritic tendril on a ground of translucent rose Pompadour enamel within opaque white line borders, the lid and base over sunburst engine-turning, the sides over reeded engine-turning and with red pellet corners, the lid with a rose-cut diamond-set frame, foliate diamond and emerald thumbpiece, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 72 standard, scratched inventory number 51?109, French import marks

Condition

Generally good condition. At the base, the top layer of enamel is cracked.
