Description

  • height of the largest including loop 2cm, 3/4 in.
the first of nugget-textured silver inset with circular-cut diamonds, emeralds, rubies and sapphires, Moscow, 1899-1908, struck KF in Cyrillic, later Dutch import marks; the second enamelled in translucent red over a hatched surface with gold leaf-tip band, St Petersburg, circa 1910, workmaster Feodor Afanassiev; the third a garnet with gold and seed pearl cap and ring, circa 1895, struck KF in Cyrillic, gold loops, all 56 standard

Condition

The hardstone and jewelled silver egg in excellent condition. The enamel egg with one small patch of restoration to the enamel.
