Condition

327cm across the top (blue abrash), 320cm cross the bottom, 463cm the left hand side, 466cm the right hand side. This kilim is reversible with colour lighter on one side and brighter on the other, . However there is a yellow surface mark to the brighter side (situated centre right of central medallion), which is partially visible from the faded side and another less noticeable in the lower right corner. Evenly faded colour with vestiges of fringes at both ends. In overall very good condition, an unusually large kilim of striking design, a highly stylised version derived from 18th century French carpets. Ready to use, very decorative.
