  • approximately 447 by 365cm; 14ft. 8in., 11ft. 12in.

Condition

447cm left hand side, 447cm right hand side, 359cm upper end, 365cm lower end. Overall condition with areas of re-woven repair including areas of different colour to the olive green ground, which is darker at two ends. The repaired areas are in some bright green and lime green, as visible from the photograph. There are areas of weakness at colour changes in areas and there is a repaired cut and join horizontally across the centre from the outer edge (almost to the centre of the main field). There are some holes which need attention and some splits. Faded colour evenly overall. All edges tucked under and lined with wool panel and further netting. Unlikely to have ever to have had borders. In country house condition and in need of some attention. attractive overall repeat design.
