Condition

101cm across the top, 103cm across the bottom, 123cm from the left, 123cm from the right. Lovely flexible handle, soft lustrous wool generally 3 - 4mm pile overall, with oxidation in the copper greens and browns down to knotheads in some areas including central motif. Some losses at lower end, now overlocked with vestiges of fringing. Top end overlocked, with fringing. Herringbone bands attached to reverse at both ends. This is a charming piece with integrity and balanced colouration and design.
