Condition

105cm across the top, 105cm across the bottom, 160cm the left, 158cm from the right. Pile varies from 3-4mm down to knotheads in areas. Lower pile within areas of brown field commensurate with dye and oxidisation. There is a horizontal tension line just visible in the lower section of the right hand border. Both ends with later overlocking and vestiges of trimmed fringing. With original triple pale blue sidecords. Lovely quality, glossy wool, flexible handle. This is a particularly striking and dynamic rug with highly attractive colourful multiple small borders.
