Condition
Overall Measurements: 281cm across the top, 280cm across the bottom, 733cm from the left, 731cm from the right. 736cm vertically through the middle.
Overall good condition 4-5mm deep pile in lustrous wool. Broad range of colour. Sidecords re-overcast. Upper end with approximately 1cm of flatwoven end finishes, fringes trimmed. Bound with cotton tape on reverse. The lower end similar. Two areas of repair (re-joined splits with some re-piling. longest approx 20cm.) in the pale walnut brown cartouche two thirds of the way down the field on the left hand side. A further and larger, approx 45cm, in a similar area - only visible on the reverse or under very close inspection.
This is a very smart decorative carpet, ready to use.
