Condition

390cm the left, 379cm the right, 231cm the top, 247cm the bottom. Lustrous wool with flexible handle generally 2-3mm pile, down to knotbars in areas, particularly the top border. Losses to guard stripe at upper end, top end overcast partially. There is a small repair to the central upper section measuring approx 6cm. There are small areas of old moth damage, see below the top right corner in the border for an example. Some further scattered small repairs in field and border. Some oxidisation in the taupe browns, later side cords. An elaborate and smart example of a classic early Kirman Lavar.
