Condition

Overall measurements: 375cm across the top, 371cm across the bottom, 636cm from the left, 632cm from the right. Typical Feraghan weave and border motif. With flexible handle. 3mm pile at highest down to knotheads across ivory field generally. Some oxidisation to browns, light and dark, commensurate with dyes. Some small speckled marks in places. Slight losses at top end with later soumac overcasting to cotton fringes. Original flatweave across width of bottom end, without fringes. Extraordinary rare white ground with unusual tree, snake and bird imagery. Overall in sound usable condition ready to place.
