Condition

359cm across the top, 370cm across the bottom, 377cm at widest point, 767cm from the left, 769cm from the right, 770 at longest point. Please note that the published image, both in the catalogue and online, is upside down. Condition overall fair. Copper green oxidised, in several areas. Bands of tracked wear across the field, with foundation visible. Some small holes to the field, an example and example of which can be found in the bottom quarter of the field measuring approximately 3 by 2cm. Some surface staining. All visible from the illustration. Partially rebound sidecords, stretches of original sidecords with losses. Upper ends with partial original flatwoven end finish and with some 'nicks' and losses. With evidence of old moth, no longer active. Lower with majority of original flatwoven end, with worn section of losses through centre. Condition reflected in estimate.
