Catalogue Note
'Peach Blossom Spring, a handsome work by any definition, is amorphous and atmospheric in nature. The artist molded the mountainous shapes and forms in soft, curling movement. The brushwork tends to be embedded in these landscape motifs instead of asserting its power over them. We also detect the artist’s interest and enjoyment in evolving a complex foreground with cascades, flowering plants, and other special intricacies.'
