Condition
A l’oeil nu :
To the naked eye:
The painting appears in satisfactory condition.
It has been relined, very probably on the first half of the 20th century, a little bit too strong.
The painting is under an extremely dirty and uniform varnish that needs to be cleaned.
We notice a light wear on the green drapery on the left of the white jacket.
Under U.V. light:
The painting appears under a green uniform thick varnish.
We cannot notice any restoration.
