Condition

The painting overall is in a lovely state. The canvas is unlined and nicely stretched. The paint surface is stable, smooth and clean beneath a clear varnish. Inspection under UV reveals milky patches, signs of of varnish remaining from a prudently gentle clean. The painting requires no further work and is ready to hang in its current state.
