Condition

The first: The print is in generally good condition, the full sheet. Scattered fox marks and reverse foxing throughout, recto and verso. Light- and mat-stain, darkening at the edges of the sheet slightly more attenuated. There is a one inch vertical tear at upper right edge and a 1/2 inch vertical tear at lower left edge. Surface soiling. The verso of the sheet in generally good condition, with scattered fox marks and uneven discoloration. Faint handling creases. The second: The print in generally good condition, the full sheet. Faint light- and mat-stain and a few inconspicuous fox marks. Surface soiling. The lower left corner appears slightly soft. The verso in generally good condition, with mat stain, surface soiling and a few traces of ink.
